This OVA episode is so sad, specially when you follow the main series. Time passed and everything that he was fighting for was gone. Although seeing the future Mitsuhiko, Genta, and Ayumi is a positive thing. Seeing Ran wait for ten years must be tough, Kogoro's tears of a man says it best.
